· Perhaps it makes us feel uncomfortable or
annoyed or anxious to so seriously and committedly enter this season—ready to
face and address the aspects of ourselves that routinely keep us separated from
God and how God has called us to live as God’s people. Should we face those
feelings in the days to come, let us remember and be assured by the wise words
of Audrey West:
No
place is so desolate, so distant, or so challenging that Jesus has not already
been there; no test or temptation is so great that Jesus has not already
overcome it.
